Helicopter Sightseeing - The Cape Reinga
trip is one of our highlights. Salt Air will collect you from our beach in
their helicopter and fly you up to Cape Reinga – the top of New Zealand
– a wonderful scenic flight for an hour up the West Coast – landing
in the Far North where you are collected for your land tour – which includes
a trip down the Pouto quicksand steam followed by sand boarding on the 90
mile beach sand dunes – a special lunch and more unique sights before
the flight back to the Cavalli Beach House along the east coast – this
trip takes 5 – 6 hours and costs between $3,750.00-$6,045.00 depending on numbers.
Salt Air also have fixed wings flights from Kerikeri twice a day – fly
up to Waitiki Landing in the Far North – your land guide will take you
to all the places of interest, refreshements included. A great four hour outing
for $425.00 per person. Driving to Cape Reinga return is a 6 hour trip –
so this flight is a great alternative.
